So Close You Can Almost Taste It...
MoCCA is this weekend! As in, tomorrow. I have a NEW COMIC done for it called Islands, from which the above panel was taken as well as 75 BEAUTIFUL COPIES OF DIMENSIONS, one of which you should really get because they are awesome!
I will be at table C11, which I have conveniently circled on this map for you. And along with me there will be an all star crew consisting of Tom Toye, Alison Dubois, Amanda Greenberg, Heather Benjamin, Laincoln Bostian, Tim Beckhardt, Leah Wishnia,Victo Ngai, and Robyn Ng. It's going to be epic! You better stop by!

Remember this thing? Well, that center column is now filled, which is to say I am done with my entry for DIMENSIONS, the awesome anthology which Zejian Shen is putting together for MoCCA. 100 Themes
So I totally admit to having had a deviant art account in high school. I was going through some old files on my computer and I found one of those 100 theme lists that people used to do on them. I know it's super lame but I am going to do it! That is to say every day for the next hundred days (that is 3 and 1/2 months!) I am going to try and do a quick drawing based on each theme in order on the list. And I'm going to post it so I am accountable to something. Yay drawing!

Lastly, some christmas thank you cards I made for relatives. They didn't actually come out that well but they look kind of ok in this photo... I'm blaming the easy-cut, silkscreen ink, computer paper combo...
Arg, I feel like I haven't made anything in the past couple of months but I guess I've been working on some stuff, I just haven't finished anything. I am 1/6 of the jam comic SUPER JAM ON TOAST which should be ready for the internet soon. And that bandaged mummy doodle is going to be a comic for the Dimensions anthology which my friend Zejian is coordinating. We are aiming to have it done for MoCCA at which we will tabling with a bunch of other folks who are also doing work for it.
Sorry this post is crazy long.
