I got these done about a month ago. I've been waiting for them to finish healing before I took photos. I'm going back for the fourth one later this week. I'm really happy with them. I will repeat myself and say once again that Stephanie Tamez is amazing. Her line work with a giant pulsating machine is cleaner than my originals done with my dinky dip pen and she's also insanely fast and super friendly. She's awesome! Go to Brooklyn Adorned and give her business.

Electric Book - The Frog and the Scorpion
I'm taking a flash based class called Electric Book this semester which focuses on the dynamic between interactivity and narrative. The first thing we had to do was some sort of fable with a twist on the moral so I chose to do The Frog and the Scorpion. Explaining much more than that would take away all of the fun so I leave you to explore on your own. Click below to play.

Monster Song
From the sound pieces we had to create visuals from each other's work, so this is based on this lovely thing right here. I recommend killing the lights and turning up the volume for the full experience.

So if you haven't read Kleist's Penthesilea I kind of just ruined the ending for you.. But aren't you curious now?

Monster Soundtrack
I'm taking a class all based on monsters which is pretty fun. Our first assignment was to make a 2:00 minute soundtrack. Mine's pretty lame but I had fun with it.
